TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Woodwork Amsterdam. We provide professional animation services to clients around the globe. Please read the following Terms of Service carefully before engaging with us. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Overview
Woodwork Amsterdam specializes in the following services:

2D and 3D Animation: Development of animated content, including commercials, explainer videos, and promotional material.
Motion Graphics: Design and animation of engaging visual content for multimedia projects.
VFX (Visual Effects): Creation of visual effects for films, commercials, and other media.
Concept Art and Storyboarding: Pre-production services to visualize your project through sketches, storyboards, and artistic concepts. Post-Production Editing: Sound design, color grading, and final edits for completed projects.
Project Consultation and Creative Direction: Advisory and direction services to help clients realize their creative vision.
Each service can be customized according to the specific needs of our clients.

2. Client Onboarding Process
To begin working with Woodwork Amsterdam, follow these steps:

Inquiry Submission: Contact us via our website, email, or phone to discuss your project.
Initial Consultation: We will arrange a meeting (online or in-person) to discuss project goals, timelines, and budget. This consultation is free of charge. Proposal and Quote: Based on the consultation, we will provide a detailed proposal, including scope of work, timeline, and cost estimate. Revisions to the proposal may be requested before final agreement. Agreement and Deposit: Once the proposal is approved, we will send a service agreement outlining the terms of collaboration. A non-refundable deposit (usually 30%-50% of the total cost) is required to begin work. Project Kickoff: Work on your project will commence once the deposit is received and both parties agree on timelines and deliverables. Project Milestones and Feedback: Clients will receive updates and drafts at agreed-upon milestones. Feedback is encouraged during this process to ensure we stay aligned with your vision.

3. Payments and Fees Deposits: A deposit is required before the start of any project. This amount will be discussed during the proposal stage. Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project. We will not release the final deliverables until the full payment has been received. Additional Costs: Any additional costs (e.g., third-party assets, stock images, or software licenses) will be communicated upfront and will require client approval before incurring. Late Payments: Payments not received within 15 days of the invoice date may incur a late fee of [Insert Percentage]% of the total amount due per month.

4. Revisions Policy We aim to ensure client satisfaction by allowing revisions at key stages of the project. Number of Revisions: The number of included revisions will be specified in the proposal. Typically, we offer up to 3 rounds of revisions at no extra charge. Any revisions beyond this may incur additional fees. Scope of Revisions: Revisions should remain within the scope of the original agreement. Any changes that require new assets, additional animation, or significant reworking of the concept will be treated as a new request and will be subject to additional charges.

5. Timelines and Deadlines We strive to meet all agreed-upon deadlines. However, project timelines may be adjusted based on: Client Delays: Delays in providing necessary feedback, approvals, or materials may result in an extension of the project timeline. Force Majeure: Woodwork Amsterdam is not responsible for delays caused by events outside of our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or pandemics. In the event of delays, we will communicate promptly to agree on an adjusted timeline.

6. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights Ownership of Final Work: Upon receipt of full payment, the client will have the rights to use the final deliverables for the intended purposes specified in the agreement. Woodwork Amsterdam Retains Rights: We reserve the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio, on our website, and in marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Third-Party Content: Any third-party content (e.g., music, stock footage) incorporated into the project will retain its respective intellectual property rights, and the client will be required to secure proper licenses for its usage.

7. Termination of Services Either party may terminate the agreement under the following conditions: Client-Initiated Termination: The client may cancel the project at any time. However, any work completed up to the point of cancellation will be invoiced, and deposits are non-refundable. Woodwork Amsterdam-Initiated Termination: We reserve the right to terminate the agreement if the client fails to provide necessary materials, payments, or communication within a reasonable timeframe. Mutual Termination: Both parties may agree to terminate the agreement if unforeseen circumstances arise that make the project no longer feasible. In the event of termination, Woodwork Amsterdam will retain the rights to any unfinished work, and the client will be invoiced for the time and resources expended.

8. Confidentiality Woodwork Amsterdam acknowledges the confidential nature of client projects. We agree to protect sensitive information shared during the course of the project, including but not limited to: Project ideas, scripts, or storylines. Technical or artistic methods specific to the client’s business. Confidentiality agreements can be signed upon request.

9. Liability Limitation of Liability: Woodwork Amsterdam will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the final deliverables. Client Responsibility: The client is responsible for ensuring that the final work meets any legal or regulatory requirements for their intended use, including but not limited to copyright, licensing, and privacy regulations.

10. Governing Law These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam.

11. Amendments Woodwork Amsterdam reserves the right to update or amend these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes prior to their implementation.
