When Final Frontier approached us to collaborate on a bold new campaign for Vans, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to push creative boundaries. Bringing Little Simz to life in 3D, larger than life on a massive NYC billboard, was an exhilarating challenge.
With Vans’ rebellious spirit and our passion for immersive design, we blended CGI, photorealism. Our aim was to bring a fresh edge to the campaign, capturing Vans’ larger-than-life energy. By modeling Little Simz in 3D, we had full control over her dynamic movements, ensuring each detail popped from the ideal angle. Using photogrammetry, we textured her features for a bold yet realistic look, blending street culture with CGI realism.
The result was an immersive fusion of art, tech, and street style. This wasn’t just about showcasing a sneaker – it was about making a statement in the heart of the city. The 8-second animation has expected to be seen live by an estimated 4.5 million people.
